Mission The center continually looks for grant opportunities. It is challenged by the fact it does not have a grant writer. Main Street’s program certainly qualifies for most of the criteria corporations propose when distributing grant money to early childhood children at risk. If you are interested in making a real difference in the lives of so many children and hard working parents and could help with grant writing, please contact Main Street Director Elizabeth Egan at 703.273.1192.

Local churches, especially Fairfax Presbyterian and Fairfax United Methodist Church, contribute financially each quarter. Other churches contribute financially when they are able or if their community outreach programs have extra funds.

New Building
Through the generosity of The City of Fairfax, Main Street is able to rent 7000 sq. ft. of space at a very reasonable rate in the former Green Acres Elementary School. This situation is only temporary however; and we are continuing to look for a new, permanent building and home for the program.

Main Street Child Development Center needs your help to find a new location. If you have space or can help us find space, please contact Elizabeth Egan, Main Street Child Development Center Director, 703.273.1192.
