Main Street is proud to be accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. We have voluntarily undergone the comprehensive process of internal self-study and were evaluated by an external team of professionals to verify compliance with the Academy's criteria for high quality early childhood programs. Staff: Each of our classes feature the teamwork of a lead teacher, a teacher's associate, and a teacher's assistant or aide. Lead teachers and teacher's associates have college degrees or a Child Development Associate's (CDA). Continuing education is encouraged. All staff are members of the National and the Northern Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC & NVAEYC), and the Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA).
