Ms. Carmen
Ms. Carmen is lead teacher of Main Street’s SACC program, Eagles. She has been with
Main Street Child Development Center since 1999 and she teams with other teachers
to provide a stimulating learning environment.
Ms. Carmen received her Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate in September
2009 and she has 12 years of early childhood learning program experience in the
Fairfax area. Previously, she was a dental assistant. As a military spouse, she
volunteered hundreds of hours of her time, most notably to the American Red Cross.
In her travels overseas with the military, she has experienced living in and working in
many multicultural environments.
Ms. Carmen's goal "is to spark a sense of curiosity and kindle a desire to learn in
each child."
