Ms. Favziya
Ms. Favziya has been a floating teacher at Main Street Child Development Center
since 2001. She was born in Naghadah, Iran, and after graduating from high school,
she worked as a nurse in a hospital. She moved to the United States with her husband,
Vahed, in 1993, then had two daughters, Media and Srvah.
Ms. Favziya worked as a volunteer at the Graham Road Elementary School Head Start
program for two years before she came to Main Street. She attended Northern Virginia Community College and finished all required courses for her Child Development
Associate (CDA) certificate in 2008.
“Working with children and watching each child blossom and grow has been a wonderful
and beautiful experience,” says Ms. Favziya. “I will work to the best of my ability to help
each child I come across.”
