Ms. Sara
Ms. Sara has been a teacher assistant in the Butterfly classroom since 2005. She has
a bachelor’s degree in social work from the Catholic University of Ponce, Puerto Rico,
and is a bilingual speaker. Ms. Sara received her Child Development Associate (CDA)
certificate in March 2009, and she is currently attending Northern Virginia Community
College, working toward her associate’s degree in early childhood education.
She is married to Jorge, has three sons, and lives in the City of Fairfax.
"I love teaching, which is what I have been doing since I was very young," says Ms. Sara.
"Needless to say, I love children."
