Ms. Shokouh
Ms. Shokouh is the educational coordinator at Main Street Child
Development
Center. She holds a master’s degree in education and a master’s degree
in school psychology from St. John’s University in New York. She also
completed a certificate program in play therapy from Chesapeake Beach
Professional Seminars Play Therapy Institute in May 2007.
Prior to joining Main Street Child Development Center, Ms. Shokouh worked
as a school psychologist with the Alexandria Public Schools. She also worked
as a consultant examiner with the George Mason University clinic.
In her spare
time, Ms. Shokouh enjoys oil painting, photography, music, reading
and traveling.
Ms. Shokouh is a member of the National Association for the Education of
Young Children, High Scope Educational Foundation and Virginia Art League.
