Main Street Child Development Center is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that thrives on the generous support of individuals, businesses and private foundations to provide high-quality early childhood education services for Fairfax’s most vulnerable children.

Donations of Goods Whether you have clothing your children have outgrown, like-new books you no longer use, or other items, Main Street often accepts these donations. Contact us to schedule a drop off or to ensure we can accept your items!
Corporations, Foundations, & Community Support Community partnerships are key to our ongoing success. We often hold corporate volunteer groups, partner with community organizations to provide extended services to our families, and create projects with foundations. Volunteer
Our volunteers enrich the experiences of the children at Main Street. Through special art, music, nutrition, science projects, or reading aloud to children during story time, volunteers create special opportunities for our children to learn something new!
Volunteers and student interns also work directly in the classrooms with children, learning how to engage in activities, provide homework assistance to the school-age program, or assist with childcare during parenting classes.
