OUR FAMILIES We provide parenting workshops, nutrition classes, counselling, as well as opportunities for family engagement.
Parenting Classes
In partnership with the Fairfax County Department of Family Services - Children and Families, Main Street offers these free classes on-site in both English and Spanish. We provide free dinner and childcare for all Main Street families that attend.
Family Assistance
Families are encouraged to reach out to our Family Engagement Coordinator for help with paperwork, navigating county resources, and any other needs you and your family may have.
Other Family Opportunities
Main Street hosts a variety of events throughout the year for families including an Art Night, International Night, Summer Celebration and Stepping Up Ceremony. Parents are also encouraged to get involved in their child’s class, by participating in studies, attending parent teacher conferences, and more.
